Job Summary

CT Technologist (Permanent Role)

Location: Aventura FL 33160

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Schedule: Rotating weekends 8-hour shifts only

Shift Times:

6:00 AM 2:30 PM
7:00 AM 3:00 PM
8:00 AM 4:00 PM
9:00 AM 5:00 PM
3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist you will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings performing a wide range of CT imaging procedures used for the diagnosis of various medical conditions. Youll be responsible for operating CT scan equipment ensuring image quality and prioritizing patient care throughout the imaging process.

You will interact with patients from newborn through geriatric age groups obtain consent explain procedures and prepare them for imaging ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
Operate CT equipment efficiently and safely ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
Verify patient identification and ensure proper consent and documentation.
Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients.
Monitor patient condition and respond to any signs of distress during procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare team members.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the CT room and equipment.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
Assist with scheduling and workflow as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience: 1 year of CT Tech experience (REQUIRED)
Certification:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (REQUIRED)
- State Registered Radiologic Technician or Registered CT Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
