Location: Ocala FL 34470
Shift: Day/Night Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare this role you will perform diagnostic x-ray procedures and support clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care. Youll be part of a dedicated team that works collaboratively and treats patients like family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate diagnostic X-rays as ordered by providers adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety principles.
- Prepare and transmit radiologic images for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Assist in rooming patients including taking vital signs and medical history.
- Support patient care including assistance with walking transfers specimen collection and exam preparation.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean well-stocked and properly maintained.
- Transport patients when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the State of Florida.
- BLS Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Experience: No prior experience required - New Graduates are welcome to apply!
