Located in Bethesda MD client owns and operates a growing portfolio of Manufactured Housing Communities. Currently investing our Fund III vehicle the portfolio is nearing 2000 lots across 6 states and 21 communities.

No longer over-looked as an asset class we compete with some of the largest institutions and private equity groups in the country.
We are looking to add an Acquisitions Analyst/Associate to our small corporate team which will require the individual to work on a wide range of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with all internal team members and leadership 3rd party vendors equity partners lenders legal and accounting. You will have an impact on all components of real estate investments and operations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Sourcing underwriting and evaluating new mobile home park acquisitions
- Leading the financial underwriting and due diligence process for potential acquisitions
- Creating/maintaining excel pro forma models for new acquisitions and valuation models for existing portfolio assets
- Conducting in-depth market research to support investment theses
- Maintain relationships with national MHC brokers and other industry participants
- Prepare investment presentations and participate in investment meetings with equity and debt partners
- Assist with closing processes for acquisitions dispositions and refinancings
- Work across Property Management and Asset Management to maximize portfolio NOI
- Maintain the deal pipeline including updates on status milestones and investment metrics
Qualifications
- 2 years of real estate experience (banking PE brokerage buy side etc.)
- Mastery of financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelors degree in finance real estate economics or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of real estate valuation metrics (e.g. IRR equity multiple DCF NOI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A roll up the sleeves attitude to work across various functions in a small team environment
- Willingness to travel for site visits market research and due diligence
