Job Location: Sunnyvale CA
Job Summary:
- We are seeking Wi-Fi Test Engineers to join our team supporting Amazons device testing initiatives.
- This is an onsite role in Sunnyvale CA working directly at the client office due to heavy dependency on lab infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Wi-Fi protocol testing debugging and automation.
- Develop and execute test plans for Wi-Fi features including connectivity throughput roaming and power management.
- Perform protocol-level testing across 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Conduct interoperability testing with various access points and client devices.
- Use tools like Wireshark IxChariot Octoscope and AirMagnet for analysis and debugging.
- Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Log defects analyze root causes and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and procedures.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi testing.
- Strong understanding of 802.11 protocols and RF behavior.
- Experience with Wi-Fi test tools (Wireshark Octoscope etc.).
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
