Job Description
Job Title: Assembler
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year (with possible extension)
Location: Milwaukee WI 53223
Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon Thu 3:00 PM 12:00 AM Fri 10:00 AM 2:00 PM)
Position Overview
The Assembler will perform hands-on mechanical and electronic assembly of medical device components in an ISO-certified environment. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a highly regulated manufacturing setting with opportunities for skill growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of modules boards frames and cables.
- Read and follow visual aids schematics process sheets and assembly instructions.
- Utilize hand tools power tools jigs and saws to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct continuity checks in-process inspections and final quality checks.
- Disassemble rework and test prototypes as needed.
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly machinery.
- Report malfunctions and assist with equipment adjustments.
- May assist in packaging shipping inventory and storage tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 0 years required; 1 2 years preferred in medical device or ISO-certified assembly.
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of production and manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
