Job Description
The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Stock Management Operative to join our team based in Elstree UK. In this role youll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) service ensuring the accurate and efficient management of stock across a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
This is afull-time permanent positionbased at acustomer site in Elstree. Alongside a competitive salary we offer a comprehensive benefits package including apension scheme private medical and dental care and an additional day off for your birthday.

Working hours:Monday to Friday core hours
The Team
Youll be part of acollaborative and supportive on-site team of three associates working closely with colleagues and the Site Operations Manager to ensure materials are received stored and distributed safely and efficiently across the site.
What were looking for
- Experience instores warehouses or inventory management
- Avalid UK driving licence(essential); forklift experience is desirable
- Familiarity withGMP environmentsandSHE requirements
- Strongcustomer service skillsand the ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel Word and inventory management systems
- Excellentattention to detail communication and time management skills
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and stock movement
How youll thrive and create an impact
- Receive goods and perform quality checks in line with site procedures
- Manage stock using internal inventory systems and process orders for internal delivery
- Replenish consumables and chemicals to lab stores and in-lab points of use
- Distribute parcels across the site using a company vehicle
- Respond to customer requests efficiently and professionally
- Support health & safety compliance audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all training and documentation are completed and up to date
