Occupational Therapist Travel Position
Location: Lewistown MO
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks

Pay: $2225/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join on a travel contract in Lewistown MO. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients requiring rehabilitative services to restore independence and improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities limitations and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician directives and patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions focused on mobility coordination self-care and cognitive function.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy goals adaptive techniques and assistive equipment.
- Document assessments treatment sessions and progress notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment while upholding infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent occupational therapy experience in a clinical or rehab setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Compassionate patient-centered approach to care.
