Job Summary
Substitute School Nurses - All SchoolsThe Substitute School Nurse will provide health services to students including but not limited to administering medications performing ordered treatments caring for illness critical decision-making in emergency situations maintaining confidentiality and documenting in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts laws and the policies and procedures of the School District. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate students health pertinent family history and home factors counsel students parents and school personnel about health problems and issues; Maintain appropriate health records; Notify appropriate individuals of immediate and potential health related problems; Document pertinent information in student records; Provide emergency care for all students on school premises in the event of injury or sudden illness; Administer medication to students with parent/guardian and physician consent; Other related duties as Diem Rate: $200 per full-day and $100 per half-day.
