As the Chief of Residential Programs you will be driving the management and administration of programs and services as well as fostering new development. Your responsibilities will involve various strategies such as developing and implementing budgets negotiating rates ensuring compliance with licensing regulations enhancing program quality and nurturing staff development. Additionally youll be tasked with overseeing the program Director Operational Managers as well as implementing policies and systems. This role will effectively be managing risks minimizing organizational liabilities and prioritizing the safety and excellent service delivery for the clients we support in the IDD community under the CHRP waiver.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all funding sources regulatory bodies and families of those we serve ensuring licensing and compliance.
  • Navigate manage and lead all aspects of program/area financial performance including budget management contract review/adherence and rate negotiation.
  • Collaborate effectively with external collaborator team CDHS Colorado Access and care support etc. to optimize operations.
  • Assure proper management of clients served through intentional milieu approaches.
  • Lead the training and supervision of program Directors and Managers; evaluate program and staff performance to ensure exceptional quality and efficient utilization. Moreover offer valuable support for staff and caregiver training to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Assess and propose policies and procedures to elevate program efficiency; leverage technical and analytical tools to gauge performance and productivity pinpointing any service gaps.
  • Lead and make it possible for TCC clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) needs to access their community and create meaningful and healthy relationships with their peers staff and caregivers. You will work collaboratively with a group of professionals to support those who support the clients individual needs for maximum results.

  • Limited physical lifting of general office supplies as needed

  • On-site: Residential home/ campus
  • Minimal travel requirements as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human services Psychology Counseling Health and Human Services Human Services Management Social Work or Behavioral Science or a related field.
  • Experience: minimum of 3 years of program/dept. leadership experience in the field of human services or healthcare (preferably overseeing community-based programs and support for clients/youth with intellectual developmental and physical disabilities)
  • Budget experience
  • All positions require a criminal CBI background check FBI fingerprint check State of CO child abuse check DMV driving record check pre-employment drug test pre-employment physical academic credential verification and reference check.
