Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of building systems. Troubleshoot electrical mechanical HVAC communications and audio/visual systems. Pest control related to integrated pest management as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate some college or industrial training on job related skills
  • EPA Certified for CFC Refrigerant Recovery or Noncommercial Pest Certified Applicator license preferred but not required
  • Maintain a Texas drivers license commercial drivers license and a clear driving record

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge and skill in troubleshooting and working with electrical equipment up to 277 volts
  • Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and the ability to do minor repairs
  • Knowledge and skill in painting and drywall installation or repair

Experience:

  • Minimum three years previous experience

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Maintain troubleshoot and repair mechanical and HVAC equipment.
  • Perform communication connections including data and voice.
  • Operate security alarm system.
  • Operate computerized management system.
  • Responsible for compliance with safety policy for self and other employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
