As Operations Manager for Mews you are the driving force behind first-line operational excellence combining a hands-on approach with strategic responsibility for continual improvement regulatory compliance outsourcing management customeroperations and team leadership. Youll ensure that our fintech operations in Europe not only run smoothly but also exceed regulatory quality and customer standards.
This is a senior accountability function reporting directly to the leader of the Fintech European business with responsibility to ensure senior management and regulatory bodies are fully apprised of operational status risks and mitigation plans.
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
- Outsourcing Management Oversee third-party vendors from onboarding to performance monitoring ensuring compliance and acting as the primary escalation point.
- New Product Readiness Coordinate operational launch of new products aligning with regulatory standards and ensuring smooth integration into customer operations.
- External Partnerships Manage vendors and partners to contractual performance and compliance standards; support audits and reviews.
- Customer Operations Oversee complaints and support processes ensuring timely fair and compliant resolutions.
- Project Leadership Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve workflows efficiency and operational performance.
- Regulatory & Risk Compliance Ensure processes and controls meet EMI regulatory requirements collaborating closely with Risk & Compliance teams.
- Performance Monitoring Track SLAs operational risks and key indicators; escalate issues impacting compliance or customer outcomes.
- Audit Readiness Maintain documentation train staff and prepare the business for internal external and regulatory reviews.
