This assignment is intended to be 6 months in a nanoparticle co op focused on Chemical and Mechanical Planarization (CMP) applications will substantially strengthen our organizations capacity for innovation operational efficiency and sustained competitive advantage. By leveraging specialized expertise in nanotechnology and materials science this role provides you an opportunity to help accelerate the development of advanced solutions ensuring our team remains at the forefront of technological Youll DoNanoparticles: Support the preparation and characterization of nanoparticles for CMP Modification: Perform surface modification experiments utilizing silane chemistry to optimize nanoparticle Characterization: Apply advanced analytical techniques including electron microscopy nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis to assess surface properties and Analysis: Interpret experimental results prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to the research : Partner effectively with team members to execute project objectives and actively contribute to laboratory meetings with technical insights and We SeekKnowledge: Completed coursework in organic and inorganic chemistry demonstrating a strong theoretical Skills: Proficient in chemical laboratory techniques including safe handling of chemicals and materials; completed organic and inorganic laboratory Skills: Skilled in data analysis and interpretation to support research Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to teamwork and knowledge to Detail: Highly organized with exceptional accuracy and precision in experimental work and Major(s) & Graduation YearCurrently enrolled in a bachelors or masters program in Chemistry Materials Science Biochemistry Nanotechnology or related fieldGraduation years: 2026 or 2027EligibilityMust be a currently enrolled studentAvailable to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op programPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Will need to be in laboratory environment for 6-8 hours.
