Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Educator develops coordinates and implements education programs and support services to serve the needs of community members. Provides knowledge that is relevant to coping with illness promoting recovery to healthful living and appropriately involves the consumer in his/her healthcare decisions. Ensures customers initial contact is one that fosters a sense of security and confidence.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Experience teaching and working in the community.
- Bachelors Degree in Health Education or related field.
- Special Skills Ability to work independently set priorities and manage work within timeframes read and analyze technical material communicate effectively verbally and in writing positive mental attitude.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle highly confidential information essential. Must be computer literate.
