The Identity Management intern will gain hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge identity and access management processes and platforms. You will work closely with our IT Security and Operations teams to ensure secure and efficient access for all Beckman Coulter associates. This position reports to the Beckman Coulter Identity Management team and is part of the IT organization located on-site in Brea CA.
What you will do:
Collaborate with IT teams and business units to understand identity and access requirements.
Assist with the administration monitoring and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
Participate in troubleshooting identity-related issues.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of identity governance policies and procedures.
Who you are:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Any exposure to Active Directory or basic scripting (e.g. PowerShell) is a plus but not required.
Enthusiasm for learning about identity and access management.
The hourly range for this role is $30.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
