We are seeking a Mammography Supervisor / Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee the daily operations of our Imaging Services department. Reporting to the Operations Manager this role is responsible for supervising radiology support staff maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring high standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate will be a Certified and Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT ARRT) with a passion for leading teams and developing talent.
Supervise Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of front office staff tech assistants and various imaging modalities.
Team Leadership and Development: Act as a role model delegating responsibilities training new employees and conducting thorough performance evaluations.
Staffing and Workflow: Maintain optimal staffing levels and streamline workflow to improve performance and meet departmental goals.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all imaging services adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements set by The Joint Commission CMS and the California Department of Public Health.
Administrative Duties: Participate in interviews disciplinary actions and make key decisions in the absence of the Imaging Services Manager.
Patient and Staff Relations: Foster a professional supportive environment for physicians staff and patients upholding the hospitals mission and philosophy.
Education: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelors Degree is preferred.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in the field. Management experience is not required.
Certifications & Licenses:
Current Radiologic Technologist license from the State of California (CRT).
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT RT and M) certification.
