The idealCNC Machinist Set Upcandidate will have hands-on experience preparing CNC lathes and mills for production with a strong focus on accuracy quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Set up CNC mills and lathes based on blueprints and job specifications.
Load tools set tool offsets and adjust feeds/speeds for precision.
Perform first-article inspections and adjust machines as needed.
Collaborate with programmers and operators to optimize production.
Maintain clean and safe workspaces and troubleshoot setup-related issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in CNC setup (mills and/or lathes).
Strong ability to read blueprints setup sheets and GD&T symbols.
Proficient in using calipers micrometers indicators and gauges.
Familiarity with G-code and various CNC control systems.
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
