The Position

Join one of Melbournes leading independent boys schools and shape the voice of a community that values confidence compassion and academic excellence. We are seeking an experienced teacher of Flute to join our Music department from 30 January 2026.

This itinerant position may involve teaching in the Year 5 Instrumental Program as well as some private instrumental tuition and requires availability on a Tuesday.

This is a Casual position and at present the role is approximately 1.5 to 2 days with the opportunity for that to grow. There is the possibility to conduct/direct small and large ensembles.

Applicants with a passion for and skills in conducting and directing concert bands and jazz combos are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

A current Employee Working with Children Check
A VIT registered teacher is preferred but not essential
