Job Title: Audio Engineer (5 10 years experience required)
Location: Novi MI
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Audio HAL for Android Automotive.
- Develop C/C code to interface with radio hardware.
- Implement audio data streaming between HAL and Android framework.
- Collaborate with engineers on Android Automotive audio stack.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the HAL functionality.
- Analyze and interpret radio diagnostic data.
- Stay current with advancements in Android Automotive audio hardware.
- Contribute to documentation and maintenance of HAL code.
Job Description for Audio
- 5-7 years of experience developing embedded software
- Strong knowledge of C and C
- Experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux/QNX/FreeRTOS
- Experience with hardware abstraction layers (HALs)
- Experience with audio processing and codecs
- Experience with audio DSPs
- Responsible for Audio and related Feature (DAB FM USB CD-DVD etc)
- Experience with peripheral buses such as I2C and I2S
- Strong Linux/Android internals and kernel fundamentals
- Experience with audio systems (ALSA audio framework audio drivers)
- Preferred if having experience with audio BSP for embedded systems that use Qualcomm chipsets and Qualcomm Audio Framework (Audio Reach/Elite)
Compensation: $90000.00 - $100000.00 per year
