Position Summary:
TheRegistered Nurse (RN)is the core of ProMedicas world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve.
As the coordinator of a patients plan of care you will interact with the patient families and the health care team through open communication mutual respect and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis and plan implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
In this position you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN you will work to improve patient care your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

Unit Overview:
- 32 Bed Unit
- Autonomous nurse driven fast-paced environment
- Average patient length of stay is under 24 hours
Patient Population:
- A wide variety of medical surgical and intermediate level observation status patients managed by hospitalists surgeons and ER providers. Patient diagnoses encompass cardiology (chest pain atrial fibrillation CHF etc) neurology (TIA syncope seizure headache vertigo) urology (kidney stone flank pain) post-op (laminectomy fusion appendectomy cholecystectomy thyroidectomy hysterectomy orthopedic surgeries etc) anemia generalized abdominal pain COPD etc
Requirements- Current State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
- The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
