Job Description
The Company:
Pacific Aerospace & Electronics (PacAero) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team. This person is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance operations within the organization. They will be the central point of contact for any maintenance related issues ensuring that everything from equipment and facilities to grounds and systems are maintained in optimal condition.
PacAeros core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the worlds most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee WA with a remote manufacturing site Bonded Metals located in Sequim WA. Working together we employ proprietary technologies best practices engineering and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the worlds most extreme environments. PacAeros products are hard at work in medical components such as cardiac-function devices on key aerospace & defense programs in space and deep below the earths surface.
The Position:

Position Schedule/Training Schedule:
This position is Exempt with a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop maintenance procedures.
- Must ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient and compliant maintenance activities
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage maintenance-related budgets to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of upkeep.
- Liaison with external contractors and suppliers to acquire high-quality services and materials when needed for maintenance projects.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance maintenance procedures and reduce costs.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Train and develop maintenance staff to enhance their skill sets and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations involving equipment breakdowns mitigating potential hazards or interruptions.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with production staff about maintenance schedules and equipment needs on a regular basis.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Manager.
- Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to Management personnel.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician or supervisor.
- Flexibility to adapt work schedule to company needs.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Good communication and organizational skills (read/write/speak/comprehend the English language).
- Computer skills
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
