In this role you will be responsible for successful execution of wind and solar projects from concept through commercial operation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to advance project activities and contribute to the companys growth and success. What You Will Do:

  • Lead and/or support as appropriate the origination qualification and development of greenfield opportunities including solar wind and storage projects.
  • Build and support development strategies and lead in their execution.
  • Conduct preliminary feasibility assessments including site evaluation and resource and regulatory analysis to determine project viability and potential risks.
  • Support site control negotiations with landowners including leases easements and mineral rights waivers for all vital project real estate rights to construct and operate renewable projects.
  • Support the permitting process by coordinating with regulatory authorities preparing permit applications and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations to attain all necessary approvals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with landowners local communities government agencies and other partners to facilitate project development and address any concerns.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Who You Are:

  • You possess a bachelors degree in a relevant field such as real estate engineering environmental sciences business administration or a related field.
  • 7 years or more experience in renewable energy project development. Experience with utility-scale project development is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and GIS software is an asset.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial demeanor with a passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies market dynamics and early understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Physical requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping kneeling light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.
