Senior Data Engineer MS-Fabric & PBI Specialist

1. Strategic Data Engineering & ETL Development

• Design develop and maintain complex ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Synapse MS Fabric Azure Data Factory Data Lake and Databricks.

• Ensure data quality consistency security and scalability anticipating future requirements and potential challenges.

2. Advanced Data Modeling & Reporting

• Lead the creation of robust reusable and efficient data models to support enterprise-level analytics.

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions across business units.

• Establish best practices standards and methodologies for modeling version control

3. Business Partnership & Analytics Leadership

• Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to define KPIs business logic and analytic requirements.

• Act as a trusted data advisor guiding stakeholders on innovative uses reporting solutions.

4. Governance Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure strict adherence to data governance security and compliance policies.

• Identify and implement process improvements automation and advanced analytics solutions.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies tools and methodologies introducing innovations that improve efficiency and insight delivery.

What are we looking for

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

• 7-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer working with the Microsoft stack (e.g. Azure Synapse SQL Server Azure Data Lake Azure Data Factory ETL Databricks MS Fabric)

• Coding expertise in SQL Spark SQL familiarity with Python

• Strong proficiency in Power BI including DAX Power Query and data visualization best practices.

• Solid understanding of data modeling data warehousing and dimensional modeling.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g. Git Azure DevOps).
