PHP Developer

Location: Leeds 2x/week

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: 44000

What youll be doing

Developing testing and maintaining high-quality PHP applications.
Working across the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment.
Collaborating with front-end developers designers and other team members to create seamless solutions.
Troubleshooting debugging and optimising application performance.
Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.

What were looking for

Proven experience as a PHP Developer (Laravel Symfony or similar frameworks desirable).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus points for

Experience working with APIs and microservices.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
