PHP Developer
Location: Leeds 2x/week
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: 44000
Were looking for a skilledPHP Developerto play a key role in building and maintaining robust scalable web applications. If youre passionate about clean code problem-solving and delivering great user experiences this could be the perfect role for you.
What youll be doing
- Developing testing and maintaining high-quality PHP applications.
- Working across the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment.
- Collaborating with front-end developers designers and other team members to create seamless solutions.
- Troubleshooting debugging and optimising application performance.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.
What were looking for
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer (Laravel Symfony or similar frameworks desirable).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus points for
- Experience working with APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
