DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
The Proactive Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving hotel revenue through strategic sales initiatives proactive client engagement and effective team coordination. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities nurturing client relationships and ensuring the sales team meets performance targets. The ideal candidate is results-driven highly organized and passionate about hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate leisure and group segments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute strategic sales plans
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Conduct site inspections client meetings and presentations to promote hotel services
- Support the Sales Manager in setting team goals and tracking performance metrics
- Prepare sales reports forecasts and analysis for management review
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for clients
- Represent the hotel at industry events trade shows and networking functions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development
- Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of sales systems and CRM tools (e.g. Opera Salesforce)
- Working knowledge of English (intermediate level or above) and Japanese (advanced); additional language skills are a plus
- Passion for customer service and achieving sales targets
