Job Highlights:

Job Description:
Under minimal supervision lead employees in assigned work area. To assign daily tasks and project work. To balance workload across daily staff adjusting for attendance and workload. To monitor progress throughout shift and adjusts workload as needed. To lead special projects. To perform duties related to the processing of patient and third party payor payments. To prepare and submit vendor payments and patient refund requisitions. To work closely with Patient Financial Services to reconcile patient and third party payor account issues.
Lead PAR Responsibilities Include:
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) year of related experience required. Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern/extern by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required. Active registration will be required prior to date of hire. Currently certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or other nationally recognized and accredited certification program requiring examination.
Preferred Qualities:
One (1) Year of Patient Account Representative Experience
Two (2) Years of Related Pharmacy Experience
