Your role:
Your challenge
As a Test Engineer you will be part of the Research and Development group where the T&V team takes care of the testing and verification of Grooming & Beauty products. These tests are being performed to verify the performance and the robustness of the product under different conditions.
As a Test Engineer you are responsible to support internal execution and reporting of product verification tests by following work instruction documents standard test protocols and industry related regulatory standards. Perform failure analysis to determine the cause of test failure. Troubleshoot simple equipment issues. Assist T&V engineers on new test method development.
Verification tests include product performance tests such as temperature rpm airflow rate and noise measurement reliability tests such as a drop test water tightness chemical resistance and endurance tests safety and regulatory tests such as high voltage test and end-of-life test and hair attribute tests such as hair shine and tensile strength tests. Everything that can happen while using the product is simulated in a lab and marketing claims are also verified with objective tests. You will help perform failure analysis as well to determine what could have caused the product to fail a test.
Requirements:
- Diploma in technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- Oral and written English and Chinese language skills
- Able to work with Excel/Word/Outlook
- Knowledge on MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
- Pro-active and detail oriented
- Hands-on mentality
- Able to work in a team
