Job Title: Finishing Packager

Location: Burnham ME

Reports To: James Morgan Finishing Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION:Greatentry level position with room for growth. Must be willing to work in fast paced environment and work in other areas when needed. The packer is responsible for the preparation of product containers weighing or counting out the number or items per container building boxes packing product and preparing for shipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare tubs or clams with back cards
Label boxes and place clamshells in box and palatize
Package LL log kits
Move product to designated area
Make/prepare boxes for LL log line
Work in other positions within the Finishing department as needed

SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Good communication skills are necessary
Ability to work around moving equipment
Basic mechanical knowledge
Flexibility and willingness to be cross trained

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Must be able to safely navigate the production facility OSHA compliant. Normally this person is standing or walking around the facility interacting with team members. Appropriate safety shoes for standing on concrete flooring is recommended.
Repetitive motions such as bending lifting and turning
Required to lift retrieve or reposition products weighing up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT (SEE NEXT PAGE FOR EXAMPLES):

Works in manufacturing environment. The noise level in the facility is usually moderate. Hearing protection is required and supplied for certain areas .
