Job Summary

Direct the creative development of content from in-briefing to publication ensuring that it meets the standards of quality engagement accuracy and tone that befits the Apple as part of a dedicated team passionate about excellent design in accordance with project constraints and photography design and illustration direction experience are core to the role with experience both pitching creative and leading creative vision from concept through a strong eye for art direction and a deep understanding of brand identity in order to develop maintain and evolve a unique style guide of standards for the effectively and enthusiastically with fellow Creative Lead(s) on a range of projects topics and needs Participate on projects that demand both conceptual and functional thinking partnering with cross-functional teams and leadership build storyboards and otherwise ideate for both design and animation using different styles and approaches for deliverables as with flexibility responding swiftly to new information opinions and directions to shift strategically when a keen understanding of video production and business needs develop and maintain a detailed and scalable approach to deep into the details while also steering towards big picture and drive best-practices for an efficient post-production graphics pipeline & workflow.


  • 7 years creating and producing video and/or graphic design content. Apple or other creative agency experience a plus.
  • 7 years of creative direction
  • 7 years working with designers (in-house or digital creative agency)
  • BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design Motion Graphics or other related subject area.
  • Strong eye for art direction across digital subject areas including photography animation live action and compositing.
  • Experience working on templatized sustaining content as well as special campaigns with an expert ability to ideate and create innovative and visually appealing work across a broad range of media.
  • Keen interpersonal skills to work on a wide range of multiple projects in a manner that can be shared with the team.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative energy to work with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Curiosity and passion for design with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools technologies resources and trends.
  • Resourcefulness and a strong sense of initiative in finding solutions.
  • Aptitude for seeing around corners to ensure awareness of bigger problems and opportunities ahead.
  • Dynamic vivid communication style capable of real-time creative problem-solving in conversation and conveying a strong point of view for design solutions.
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward despite uncertainty or challenges.


  • Passion for educational how-to content and a drive to transform the customer experience through design storytelling technology and creativity
  • A portfolio that showcases creative innovation versatility and a deep understanding of design concepts
  • Experience building real positive relationships not only with fellow creatives who span disciplines (producers motion designers graphic designers writers and strategists) but with specialists less directly tied to content creation.
  • A deep passion for and understanding of the Apple Brand and its products
