At our TrainCare Centres engineering teams work around the clock to keep Northerns trains safe reliable and ready for customers. Behind the scenes our admin team makes sure records are accurate processes run smoothly and colleagues have the support they need to do their best work. Thats where youd come in.

As an Administrative Assistant youd play a key role in keeping our TrainCare Centre organised. From managing maintenance records to supporting rostering pay and reporting this role touches almost every part of the operation. Its varied fast paced and full of opportunities to learn.

What youll be doing

• Managing and maintaining vehicle maintenance records and related systems.
• Raising purchase orders and keeping track of budgets.
• Taking minutes and providing updates where needed.
• Supporting recruitment admin including candidate feedback.
• Coordinating rosters and extracting pay with absence management including sending referrals.
• Providing day-to-day support to colleagues across the TrainCare Centre.

About you

Youll already have some admin experience and be comfortable juggling different priorities in a busy environment. What really makes you stand out is your ability to stay organised spot the detail that others might miss and keep calm when things get complex.
