Physical Therapist - Level I (SNF)- Travel Position
Location: Buffalo MO
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x8s Days
Pay: $2241/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (Level I) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The PT will evaluate plan and implement therapy programs to help patients improve mobility function and quality of life. The ideal candidate is compassionate adaptable and committed to supporting patients in regaining independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises mobility training and interventions to improve strength balance and function.
Educate patients families and caregivers on home exercise programs and mobility strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Document patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
Adhere to professional ethical and facility standards of care.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
Current state Physical Therapist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification COVID vaccine recent TB test
Minimum 1-year PT experience (new grads are welcome as long as Level II)
