Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy this position is responsible for the overall management of all pharmacy clinical the development implementation and maintenance of processes that promote desirable patient outcomes through the useof safe appropriate cost-effective medication therapies. Ensures the functions of the department are consistent with the policies andprocedures regulatory agencies Board of Pharmacy and federal and state laws. Supports coordinates and supervises activities thatsupport the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee. Assists in the maintenance of information systems within the standard of work performance orientation and training and ongoing competencies for staff.
Requirements:
1. Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy is required.
2. Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 Pharmacy Residency or at least six (6) years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist inan acute care setting is required.
3. Two (2) years of program lead supervisory management experience is preferred.
4. Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of California is required.
5. Board Certification in a clinically-based pharmacy specialty is required.
6. An Administrative degree (MBA MHA or MPH etc.) with a concentration in Healthcare is preferred.
Pay Range: $81.59- $122.39
