Job Summary
Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 on the Perianesthesia Unit to join the team. This role will be part time day shift; Tuesday 8am-5:30pm and Friday from 6am - 4.30pm.

Clinical Technician 2 Job Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized with predictable outcomes under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Effectively communicates with health team members patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
- Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
- Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
- Identifies own learning needs based on self-evaluation and the progress made from the previous years goals.
- Assumes responsibility for self-development in life long learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift: Day (6am - 4.30pm)
Schedule:Two 10hour shifts per week (with every other weekend rotation)
Training:Ideal candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training course

Minimum qualifications:
- Experience:1-year acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school
- Education:High School graduate or equivalent.
- Certification:BLS within 90 days of hire.
- Special Skills:Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required.
