Summary
Prepares and assembles electrical components of compressor packages by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads blueprints wiring diagrams process sheets and assembly and schematic drawings and receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment.
- Plan and execute conduit routes based on drawings
- Use conduit bender to form conduit runs around obstacles
- Understands and installs different components and parts such as electrical devices and instrumentation on compressor packages.
- Pull and terminate different types of wiring.
- Use a welder to attach strut for mounting conduit to compressor package
- The ability to use excel spreadsheets to import able tags.
- Must be able to communicate and work together with other members of production in order to coordinate upcoming routing and corrective action plans when needed.
- May cross-train in other functions of the assembly team.
Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training
- 2-5 years experience working in an industrial environment
- Ability to read blue prints and use simple math skills
- Ability to read and interpreta tape measure
- Must be able to work as a team
- Ability to pass a drug test
