Job Summary
The Philanthropy Events and Partnerships Manager plays a key role on thePhilanthropy Department team overseeing the planning and execution of fundraising andstewardship events. This position is responsible for managing event logistics maintainingvendor relationships adhering to budgetary constraints and nurturing a portfolio of donor andvendor connections. The role is integral to achieving strategic goals related to partnership
development event productivity and revenue growth.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Revenue Generation

  • Effectively implement the vision of each event determined by the CEO; ChiefPhilanthropy Officer; Director of Philanthropy; and board members
  • Oversee the detailed logistical execution of assigned events ensuring revenue targetsare met and costs are controlled
  • Work with Volunteer Services Coordinators to ensure effective volunteer coordination ofall events
  • Assist in preparing and managing event budget/expenses
  • Assist in coordinating and contracting with vendors consultants and suppliers forprovision of services
  • Update and support Planner Timing and Actions in Teams to maintain project timelinesand deliverables
  • Manage portfolio of donors to effectively steward them throughout the year and increaseretention of supporters
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Philanthropy team and organizationalgoals
  • Build ticketing websites and registration pages for in-person and virtual events

Communications Outreach and Marketing

  • Assist in developing communications and marketing strategies with Brand Marketingdepartment to maximize awareness of and participation infundraising activities
  • Represent the organization positively promoting events and contributing to effectivepublic relations efforts with the organizations mission

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills by effectively prioritizing tasksmanaging multiple deadlines and ensuring prompt completion of projects
  • Must show problem-solving and decision-making ability to correct unforeseen issues onthe spot during events and be flexible in a changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service capabilities and the ability to thrive in a team-orienteddynamic environment
  • Knowledge of PC functions Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with little supervision

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business marketing communications events or a related fieldpreferred
  • At least three years in event management/coordination and direct fundraising experience
  • Experience in a nonprofit setting with a focus on development philanthropy andfundraising preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Virtuous Qgiv One Cause and e-communicationsplatforms preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • This position is on-site at a DAP Health clinic location with the possibility of hybrid
  • Ability to lift up to 24 pounds
  • Operates primarily in an office setting with frequent periods of sitting standing andtalking
  • Requires current and valid drivers license and current personal auto insurance
  • Flexible schedule required including evenings and weekends for event coordination andattendance
  • Some travel may be necessary
