Job Summary

Safety / Quality / ISO Technician

Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and manufactures automation assembly and test equipment for the life science personal care and food and beverage industries.

Haumiller Engineering is seeking an experienced Safety / Quality / ISO Technician. The Safety / Quality / ISO Technician is responsible for coordinating and assisting in the development implementation and oversight of the companys employee safety programs to prevent work-related injuries and meet OSHA regulations in multiple locations. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining ISO quality standards for the company. This position is 100% onsite and based in our South Elgin IL location.

What You Will Do:

Develop OSHA required safety training and facility employee safety training

Coordinate and assist with internal audits training auditors recommending corrective actions and providing technical advice when needed as it relates to ISO 9001

Assists with QDR follow up and coordinate the responsible parties for Corrective Actions

Assist the Safety/ISO Coordinator and company loss control representative to ensure companys risk management policies and strategies are following applicable building safety OSHA and other similar standards and regulations

Conduct new hire safety orientation

What You Will Bring:

Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong Microsoft Office Word Excel and Outlook skills

Experience with continuous improvement methods approaches and tools

Experience developing training programs and facilitating in-person training

Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred
