Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Project Coordinator with 3-5 years of experience to join our Rail & Transit Design & Engineering team in Ontario. This team is a part of our Mobility Global Business Area.
In Mobility we partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change urbanization and digitization trends are requiring todays mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the worlds growing population. We design connected sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods.
Role accountabilities:
This role will assist with the coordination management monitor and reporting of project milestones. Integrate and coordinate with all disciplines as required to complete project tasks. You will liaise with extensive teams of consultants and contractors and develop and maintain logs registers and other tables for tracking purposes. You will also liaise with document control and assist disciplines with document submissions including quality checks process. This candidate should have previous experience with interpreting and developing project scheduling plans managing budget and risks including document and quality control.
You will be responsible for maintaining project documentation and library (electronic and hard copy) ensuring adherence of project team members to project plans (e.g. project management plans schedule communication plans) and managing scope; alert team to missed or out-of-scope activities; assist in preparation cost estimates to support project change orders. You will also support project managers and other team members by facilitating project logistics such as meetings conference rooms conference calls and prepare project updates for project manager and the client including presentations status reports and risk and action registers as necessary.
