At Lessines we are committed to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Regional Warehouse to oversee our BDCE legal entity ensuring optimized service delivery at the best cost to all internal and external customers. This role is pivotal in driving fulfillment activities in alignment with our strategic plans budgetary constraints and regulatory compliance.
Leadership:Lead inspire and guide the BDCE management team to achieve operational excellence.
Safety and Performance:Drive safety quality and financial performance excellence within the cross-functional leadership team.
Operational Structure:Ensure the right operational structure culture and performance are in place to meet customer expectations and targets.
Occupancy Management:Monitor occupancy levels anticipate and manage warehouse usage and coordinate with external storage suppliers as necessary.
Baxter Operating System (BOS):Lead the deployment of the BOS within the entity.
Networking:Engage with local regional and global key stakeholders including Commercial Leaders Freight & Distribution Leads Customs & Trade Compliance and 3PL service providers.
Compliance Management:Collaborate with CQA Compliance Leads to ensure adherence to internal and external audits CAPA and NCRs.
EDC Software Systems:Implement and optimize EDC software systems such as Witron Systems and manage the long-term needs for automated warehouse systems.
Leadership Development:Manage the team in line with Baxter leadership expectations fostering a collaborative team spirit.
Budget Management:Propose implement and manage budget allocations to achieve financial targets.
Union Relations:Act as the leader of the union delegation and works council forum establishing constructive partnerships to ensure business continuity.
Goal Setting:Define annual and long-term goals for your area of accountability.
Workplace Engagement:Own the Best Place to Work program to drive employee engagement at all levels.
Feedback Culture:Establish a feedback culture (ACE process) and deploy development and succession plans.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all operations follow corporate regional and local regulatory requirements including cGDP cGMP ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications.
EHS Processes:Deploy maintain and improve EHS&S and quality processes ensuring all employees prioritize their safety and health.
Environmental Responsibility:Promote waste segregation and address any environmental concerns proactively.
Education:University degree or equivalent experience with complementary academics in Logistics and Supply Chain.
Experience:Minimum of 15 years in Operational Warehouse and Distribution Management including expertise in Environmental Health and Safety programs. And at least a recent and probant experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
Skills:
Strong financial foresight and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
Proven ability to drive cultural change and results.
Experience managing in a unionized environment.
Digital Proficiency:Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Teams Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
Language Skills:Fluent in French and English.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10% travel may be required.
