The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality low cost innovative community-based ambulatory care. Our practice is located at 170 University Drive Amherst MA 01002. As a Family Medicine office we offer comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages from infants to adults.

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00 PM.

The Clinic/Practice Assistant serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task prioritize and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!

EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degreeNoLicenses and CredentialsCertified Medical Administrative Assistant CMAA - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferredExperienceoffice experience 2-3 years requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities- Proficiency with all Office Suite Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing copying scanning printing and faxing. - Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate. - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and talking to others to convey information effectively. - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail memos and letters) and to take complete and accurate messages. - Managing ones own time and the time of others. - Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively follow established protocols and work within systems.
