Project Title: Artificial Intelligence in Academic Speaking: A Synthesis of Recent Research RS 2/25 CYL
Project Introduction: This project will examine the following aspects of AI in academic speaking research:
- theoretical frameworks underpinning AI in academic speaking research studies
- methodological design features and variables (e.g. learner/user technology and other variables influencing the implementation)
- outcomes of the application of AI in academic speaking (e.g. improvement in speaking quality assessment in learning and assessment for learning)
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in applied linguistics psychology education learning sciences and technologies or a related field.
- Proficiency in SPSS and Nvivo.
- Experienced in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and writing research papers.
- Proficiency in English language writing skills.
- Possess excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask solve problems work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate proactivity reliability and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Assist in collecting data through surveys and interviews.
- Assist in the coding and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Assist in writing of research reports and papers for publication.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
