The opportunity:
We are seeking a Warehouse Store person to join our Visy Logistics team based in Onehunga Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 2pm to 11.00pm with opportunities for overtime. Reporting to the Warehousing Team Leader you will be responsible for theinventory control management within the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Further to this your duties will include;
- Daily operation of double fork forklift counterbalance and high reach machinery.
- Receiving storing of goods and the distributing of customer deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere with health and safety policies and procedures andensuring the overall cleanliness of the warehouse area.
What youll bring to the team:
As our new Warehouse store person you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations and inventory management. You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures along with the following:
- Experience in operating a Forklift/ Counterbalance and High reach trucks and hold a relevant license is essential.
- Experience operating double- fork forklifts is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Experience with SAP and warehousing management systems desirable.
- A good level of physical fitness as there will be manual handling involved lifting up to 20kg.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping.
