We are seeking an entry level Environmental Technician to join our construction environmental monitoring team.

We are seeking an entry level Environmental Technician to join our construction environmental monitoring team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in field investigations and construction monitoring programs and reporting.
- Support preparation of permit applications and related documentation.
- Conduct literature and data reviews.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation.
- Recent graduate of a 2-year accredited diploma or a degree program in applied science engineering technology environmental science or a related discipline.
- Previous training coursework and work experience (e.g. co-ops) in environmental monitoring sampling and reporting in BC.
- Eligible to apply for Applied Science Technologist (AScT) designation within 6-12 months.
- Willingness to work long hours and in inclement outdoor weather conditions.
- Vehicle is required to drive to various sites.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working on or near water and in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to thrive in remote or field-based environments.
- Team-oriented with a positive and adaptable mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity and safety.
- Valid drivers license with eligibility for coverage under Hatfields corporate insurance.
