PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position exists to assist the Digital Branch Supervisor in coordinating and directing our digital branch services. This position is responsible for providing exceptional member service by fulfilling the duties of a digital branch representative and Digital Branch Account Officer when required. Coaching digital branch staff in the promoting referring and selling of products and services. Assisting the Digital Branch Supervisor in implementing overseeing and achieving branch goals and objectives. The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all staff and levels of management is a key driver of success.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide necessary training to digital branch staff to ensure the knowledge of our digital platforms is sufficient to answer member questions.
- Work with the Digital Branch Supervisor to supervise and schedule staff to ensure productivity.
- Assist in higher level complaint resolution and refer members as need to additional solutions.
- Verify and distribute all month end activity reports to appropriate staff and departments.
- Create and maintain process and procedure manuals for the digital branch operations.
- Abide by lending authority as designated by policy.
- Maintain satisfactory ratings for digital branch service referrals and sales.
- Coordinate and direct all digital branch activities in the absence of the Digital Branch Supervisor including resolving operational and personnel issues.
- Ability to successfully perform the duties responsibilities and functions of the positions overseen and train employees to successful performance in job duties responsibilities and functions.
- Responsible for hiring communicating expectations defining goals coaching and developing recognizing success and evaluating performance and behavior of their direct reports.
- Actively and thoughtfully communicating with their supervisor planning their goals and development taking accountability for their actions and striving for excellence.
GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote products and services.
- Attend all meetings as required.
- Maintain clean and professional work area and appearance.
- Maintain positive public relations and promote credit union within the community.
- Complete educational programs as required.
- Perform the following commitments of service to each and every member at all times:
- Make a good first impression be dressed professionally and greet people with a smile and a firm handshake.
- Keep a smile in my voice as well as on my face.
- Answer the telephone or digital communication within the allotted 20 seconds.
- Call people by name and thank them.
- Give people my full and undivided attention; focus on the person face to face telephone and online chat.
- Take responsibility for solving the individuals problem instead of referring it to someone else.
- Deliver on commitments of action(s) to be taken so excuses wont be necessary.
- Follow through on necessary action(s) to be sure the problem is solved.
- Know that whats important is not only who or what created the problem but how the problem can be corrected.
- Protect confidential information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years similar or related experience.
- Maintain active NMLS enrollment.
- Ability to receive and disperse funds in an accurate manner.
- Ability to calculate loan payments and rates.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional pleasant and outgoing personality.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of all laws and regulations regarding this position.
- Team player.
- Knowledge of credit union operations.
- Computer knowledge.
- Decision making skills.
