Job Summary
Job Title: Anesthesia Technician Operating Room (OR)
Location: Elmhurst NY
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (8x5) 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $2175/week
Weekends/Holidays: Alternating weekends and holidays required
Training: 2 weeks 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (includes EPIC training)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Anesthesia Technician Operating Roomfor an exciting Local job in Elmhurst NY.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment.
Set up ORs for anesthesia procedures ensuring required supplies and medications are available.
Stock and maintain anesthesia supply rooms.
Clean sterilize and restock anesthesia equipment and work areas.
Follow strict safety infection control and compliance protocols.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists surgeons and nursing staff to support efficient OR operations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of operating room (OR) experience.
Acute care experience required.
Current BLS certification.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
