Swan View offers transitional accommodation (12-18 weeks) and flexible supports for individuals following an extended stay in hospital. The service provides a safe and secure home and support while an individuals NDIS community-based supports are being developed. Support is based upon the individual needs of people with a psychosocial disability (who may have co-existing disabilities) with input from their stakeholders and family.
About the role
As a Mental Health Support Worker you will work directly with individualsto provide supports that are client centred safe and aimed at achieving positive outcomes whilst facilitating independence choice and decision making. You will support and maintain the wellbeing and best interests of individuals at all times and model professional behaviours including a high degree of objectivity integrity and compassion.
This is a casual role that requires availability for 24/7 shifts including days evenings weekends and sleepovers.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
