JOB SUMMARY
The Mammography Technologist is registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is responsible for correctly utilizing mammography Stereotactic bone density equipment and the PenRad system. The Mammography Technologist reports to the Manager of Imaging Services the Director of Imaging Services and Womancare and the Vice President of Regional Operations. This position ensures compliance to all Regulatory Requirements for MQSA ACR and TJC. This position performs daily monthly and annual quality control and maintains continual readiness for regulatory surveys.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Certification & Licensures:
- Certified in mammography by the American College of Radiology or must obtain Mammography certification within one (1) year of hire date- required
- BLS Certification- required
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years as a radiologic technologist preferred
- Proficient in positioning patients for radiograph mammography and bone densitometry
