Job Summary

Overview

Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

Perform blood draws injections child immunizations lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification
Assist physician in examinations including taking blood pressure pulse temperature and respiration
Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
Take and return patient phone calls as directed by Physician
Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician
Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
Assist with the maintenance of medical records including completion of referral forms lab slips and other documentation
Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms and preparing for exams
Work as a member of a team and be flexible

Qualifications

Required

Associate degree or higher
ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
