Job Description:

Studies the basic principles of plant and animal life and the affects of varying environmental and physical conditions.
Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsible for developing biologics manufacturing purification processes and for the GMP manufacturing of biologics used in clinical trials.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Gene therapy is a new modality in biologics and we are pursuing a gene therapy product based on an AAV viral vector.
As such are is hiring a consultant that has experience in developing and manufacturing these highly specialized products.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Manufacturing.
Support GMP manufacturing readiness with respect to documentation raw materials and equipment.
Provide on the floor support as Person in Plant during clinical manufacturing.
Review executed batch records.
Provide deviation resolution support Process Development.
Provide guidance in the development of manufacturing unit operations.
Review development protocols and reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree.
Specific experience with AAV vector manufacturing and testing.
Experience working with CDMOs.

PREFERENCES:

Experience with AAV producer cell line manufacturing.
1-3 Years of Experience
