Maintenance Operative. Fleetwood Hall Care Home.
- £13.53 per hour
- 30 hours a week
- Shift pattern 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Are you a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative looking for your next opportunity At Fleetwood Hall Care Home you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our home remains safe secure and well-maintained for residents staff and visitors. From property repairs and equipment upkeep to maintaining our gardens and outdoor spaces your expertise will help us provide a welcoming and functional environment.

As a Maintenance Operative your duties will include:
- Property Maintenance: Performing routine and emergency maintenance including minor repairs decoration and basic plumbing.
- Safety Checks: Conducting regular inspections of fire alarms boilers lifts and other systems ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Groundskeeping: Maintaining gardens car parks and other outdoor areas to a high standard.
- Stock Management: Ordering and managing tools and supplies efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Supporting the induction of new staff with training on building layout and fire safety procedures.
- Documentation: Accurately recording all safety checks and maintenance activities.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: A strong background in property maintenance including basic plumbing skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for maintaining high standards across all areas.
- Caring Nature: A patient approachable and professional manner.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures.
