Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven New Business Development Director to spearhead our growth initiatives. This is a senior leadership role designed for a proven hunter who excels at developing new business relationships and closing complex multi-service deals.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital marketing agency landscape a proven track record of selling CRM solutions and a passion for helping SMEs scale their operations. You will be responsible for building our market presence and driving revenue by connecting our full suite of services to the specific challenges faced by business owners.



Strategic New Business Development:
Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify target and secure new client partnerships within the South African SME sector
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities leveraging your network and our market presence
Conduct consultative sales meetings with business owners and key decision-makers diagnosing pain points and positioning our Ads Website and CRM solutions as a unified growth engine
Structure and negotiate complex high-value proposals that demonstrate a clear return on investment

CRM & Solution Selling:
Act as an evangelist for our primary CRM platform articulating its value proposition powerfully and demonstrating how it integrates with marketing efforts to drive revenue and operational efficiency
Masterfully sell the concept of a connected marketing-to-sales funnel with our CRM as the central hub for client management and growth

Market Leadership & Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and compelling content that generates leads and establishes our thought leadership
Collaborate with the Heads of Ads and Web Development to ensure proposed solutions are innovative deliverable and aligned with client objectives
Provide market feedback to the leadership team to help shape service offerings and go-to-market strategy

Skills & Experience (Not negotiable):
7 years of B2B sales experience within a digital marketing agency or Martech environment
A proven and verifiable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding significant quarterly and annual revenue targets
Deep experience selling a major CRM platform (e.g. Pipedrive HubSpot Salesforce) is essential. Elite partner certification is a strong advantage
Extensive experience in full-cycle consultative selling to SME business owners and founders
Demonstrable experience selling complex multi-product digital marketing solutions (e.g. Ads Web CRM)
A strong existing network of contacts within the South African business community is highly desirable
