Our Assurance practice is growing and we are looking for a Senior to join the team
What you will be doing
- Conduct all phases of attest engagements in accordance with Windham Brannon methodology including planning risk assessment research reporting of findings and other procedures as required.
- Prepare workpapers to document scope and findings of the engagement in accordance with AICPA standards.
- Complete assignments tasks and project components in a timely accurate and budget-conscious manner.
- Perform technical research and develop and present own conclusions to present to supervisors.
- Timely review workpapers prepared by associates and interns providing appropriate on-the-job training and coaching
- Draft financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
- Effectively supervise train and mentor associates and interns on engagements.
- Provide timely status updates of engagement to the manager and partner
- Manage day-to-day client relations and develop an effective working relationship with the client.
What you bring
- Undergraduate degree required
- 3 years of audit experience required
- Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles financial statements disclosures and generally accepted auditing standards required.
- Experience working with clients in a variety of industries including but not limited to manufacturing construction hospitality professional services NFP real estate employee benefit plans etc.
- CPA successfully achieved or in progress
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Client service oriented
